Website Design Work
After working with this company to produce apparel the Pentalux Rods company hired me to produce a new website design. The previous website was out of date and needed a new look to represent what the brand is today. The new design created for the brand incorporated graphics from their apparel for a cohesive style throughout the brand. Working directly with the owner gave me a clear vision to produce exactly what was needed.
One of the main concerns the owner had was that the patented logo was no longer recognized by clients as his main logo due to other graphics he uses for marketing. As a solution, the patented logo was placed in the header of the website to gain more recognition for the brand along with utilizing images containing the logo stamp in prominent places throughout the website. Another request was to allow clients the opportunity to find his Facebook page easily. This was accomplished by adding a link to the page in the footer along with creating a QR code for marketing signage at events. After the website was published the owner requested signage to promote the new website on Facebook and at events. I created another QR code to use in the signage for easy access to his new website for his clientele to scan.
When designing the website the text was made larger than normal knowing that the target audience is typically an older generation making it an easy read. Along with using a neutral color pallet of tan and brown with an accent color of navy blue much like the products that the Pentalux Rods brand sells. At the end of the project I left the door open for the company to reach out with any request they may have for future opportunities.
