Pentalux Rods is a high end bamboo fly rod company, a luxurious and expensive fishing brand. One of the craftsman's slogans is "The Finest in Grass and Brass", grass is referring to bamboo and brass to all the hardware on a fishing rod. The craftsman wanted an apparel design with this slogan in it. The design was created with the intent of being used for t-shirts, hooded sweatshirts or crewnecks. With simple fish artwork to attract viewers while complimenting the personalized typography for the slogan on the back. On the front of the apparel I used the company typography style with the fish art and line work to help bring a visual connection between the front and  back designs along with ensuring the companies brand recognition. Keeping to the limited color palette of just black and white fit best for the high end brand and the target audience of older men that fly fish.
